Lottie Leonard Fairfax

CHESTER: Mrs. Lottie Leonard Fairfax, 75, of Chester died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. The funeral will be held 3:00 PM Monday at First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend John Porter officiating. Burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. A native of Spartanburg County, Mrs. Fairfax was a daughter of the late Judd Leonard and Florence Brown Leonard. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries. She was a devoted member of First Church of the Nazarene for over 58 years where she was also a member of the Mothers Sunday School Class. Surviving is her husband, Elmore Fairfax, three sons, Steve, David, and Tim Fairfax all of Chester, SC, two sisters, Dorothy Gaston and Doris Hathcock both of Chester, SC, one brother, Leland Leonard of Spartanburg, SC, six grandchilren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Paul Fairfax. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene.
