Lonnie Michael Robinson

Mr. Lonnie Michael Robinson, 74, died Thursday March 26, 2020 at his home. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Interment will be private. Mr. Robinson was born November 27, 1945 in York County, SC and was a son of the late Leroy Robinson and Louise Mahaffey Robinson. He was a 1964 graduate of Chester High School and York Tech.Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Vietnam. Lonnie was retired from Duracell in Lancaster, SC as an Electronics Technician, and enjoyed fishing and was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of over 54 years Shirley Dubose Robinson; three children, Michael James Robinson of Chester, SC, Ivan Robinson of Richburg, SC and Wendy Kiser of Frisco, TX; one granddaughter, Hannah Kiser of Frisco, TX; one great-grandson, Ayden Michael Robinson of Chester, SC; two sisters, Brenda Ashley (Howard) of Rock Hill , SC and his sister Ann Currin ( Dennis) of Oxford, NC; two brothers, Tim Robinson (Nancy) of Chester, SC and Joey Robinson (Teresa) of Chester, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.
