York Mrs. Lois Viola Wilkie Dillinger, 86, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at White Oak Manor.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 17, 2012, at Woodward Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilson and Rev. Melvin Pressley officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Dillinger was born July 27, 1926 in Cherokee County, SC and was a daughter of the late Dewey Wilkie and Ollie Pearl Spencer Wilkie.She attended the schools of Cherokee County, was retired from Chester Sports Wear, and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She is survived by four sons, Mitchell Dillinger and wife Christine, Gayland “Ben” Dillinger and wife Angie, Marion Dillinger and wife Diane, and Jeffrey Dillinger and wife Mary all of Chester; five daughters, Mildred Going of Chester, Frances Langley of Chester, Brenda McMahan and husband Butch of Chester, Sadie Slack of Blackstock, and Patsy Ferrell and husband Eric of Chester; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Wilkie and wife Shirley and Buford Wilkie and wife Sherry; and two sisters, Lorrie Price and Gladys Lamb.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Dillinger and several brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to Woodward Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1570 Ashford Rd., Chester, SC 29706.
