Linda Porter Ratterree

Chester Mrs. Linda Porter Ratterree, 77, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at her home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2019, at Union ARP Church with Rev. Watson Gunderson officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday in the fellowship hall of the church. Mrs. Ratterree was born April 8, 1942 in Richburg, SC and was a daughter of the late Reece Craig Porter and Macie Morrison Porter.She was a graduate of Lewisville High School and Southeastern College of Beauty Culture in Charlotte, NC and was owner and operator of Linda’s Beauty Shop in Richburg.Mrs. Ratterree was a member of Union ARP Church.She was also a member of Eastern Star Richburg Chapter, the Jolly Quilter’s Club and the Progressive Association of Chester County Communities (PACC). She is survived by her husband, Ted Ratterree; two sons, Chris T. Ratterree (Donna) of Richburg and Mark R. Ratterree (Shannon) of Chester; one daughter, Jan Patrick (Brett) of Rock Hill; six grandchildren, Jessica Ratterree, Erin Gladden, Morgan Sims, Macy Ratterree, Reece Patrick and Gavin Patrick; and several great grandchildren.Mrs. Ratterree was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Porter Acker.
