Columbia Ms. Linda Joyce Martin, 62, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.A memorial service will beheld at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, at Chester Freedom Ministries with Rev. Steve Bishop and Mr. Donnie Wade officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Chester Freedom Ministries. Ms. Martin was born November 3, 1953 in Walterboro, SC and was a daughter of Mrs. Caunell Bryan Martin and the late Reuben Billy Martin.She was a graduate of Walterboro High School and Limestone College and retired from S.C. Department of Corrections and also worked at Richland County Public Library.Ms. Martin loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.She was a member of New Heights Church in Columbia. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Tracy Crosby Wade (Donnie) of Chester; six grandchildren, Hannah Wade, Corey Wade, Allie Wade, Jon Tyler Wade and Rayden Whaley all of Chester and Quay Jacques of Cottageville, SC; two brothers, Michael B. Martin (Laura) of Monroe, NC and Kevin B. Martin (Rhonda) of Walterboro; one niece, Emily Martin of Walterboro; and two nephews, Barron Martin of Monroe, NC and Coby Martin of Walterboro.Ms. Martin was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Crosby.
