Linda Louise Allen Hampton

Linda Louise Allen Hampton, 83, died Thursday, November 28, 2024, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2024, at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Hampton was born June 17, 1941 in Union, SC and was a daughter of the late John Sanders Allen and Sallie Beatrice Broome Allen. She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries Katherine Plant. She was a member of Chester First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She is survived by four children, Denise Abercrombie (Freddie) of Chester, Lesley Sinclair (Scott) of Chester, Michael Hampton (Karen) of Chambersburg, PA and Whitney Price (Bojack) of Chester; nine grandchildren, Hampton, Chloe, Taylor, Ki, Hollis, Clay, Dani, Morgan and Brandi; and four great grandchildren, Aubree, Felix, Peyton and Elliott. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her husband of over 41 years, Gordon Winfield “Corney” Hampton. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 404 W.
