Chester Mrs. Linda Dale Stapleton Greene, 75, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Brother David Shari and Rev. Roger Roof officiating. Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Greene was born May 24, 1947 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Claude Stapleton and Margaret Martin Stapleton. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from F. Schumacher and Company and previously worked with Oxford of Chester, SC. Linda enjoyed camping with her family and doing a little fishing from time to time and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Community Church in Chester, SC. She is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Richard W. Greene; one son, Rusty Greene (Brittany) of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Landon Greene and Lily Greene both of Chester, SC; she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Stapleton.
