Tampa, Florida Mrs. Linda Jane Moore Gilchrist, 69, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Fairway Oaks Nursing Home in Tampa, FL.A graveside service will be held 2:00 Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Born February 28, 1947 in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Gilchrist was a daughter of the late William Leo Moore and Minnie Welborn Moore.She was a graduate of Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC and was a retired administrative assistant from Randolph County School System in Randolph, North Carolina.Mrs. Gilchrist was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-one years, Garland Gilchrist; two daughters, Mary Lusk (Craig) of Lutz, FL and Jenny Fredrickson (Russell) of Camas, WA and six grandchildren, Kyle, Joshua, Alec, Emma, Lauren, and Ryan.She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Moore.
