Chester Mrs.Lila Lois Land Pritchett, 80, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at MUSC-Chester Regional Nursing Center.Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Barron Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Sherrill officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Pritchett was born May 17, 1938, in Aberdeen, NC and was a daughter of the late James M. Land and Sarah Hendricks Land.She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from Williamette Industries as an office clerk.She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.Lila enjoyed puzzles, cross stitch and word books and spending time with her friends.She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing them. She is survived by one son, Tony Payne (Amy) of Anderson; one daughter, Kelly Vinson of Chester; eight grandchildren, Nikki, Johnna, Johnny, Bailey, Shannon, Chad, Dani and Ellie; five great grandchildren, Dakota, Cage, Kenzlee, Caden and Karlee; two brothers, Richard M. “Mackie” Land (Betty Jean) of Rock Hill and James M. “Jimmy” Land of Chester.Mrs. Pritchett was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Thompson; a grandson, Timmy Vinson; and a sister, Betsy M. Land.
