CHESTERMrs. Lila Rebecca Strickland Pearson, 86, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, November 18, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 17, 1925 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of the late John R. Strickland and Viola Bailey Strickland.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired as director of Chester County Nursing Center.She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the loving widow of Calvin Pearson.Surviving Mrs. Pearson, are her son, Morris Pearson and his wife Jeanie of Blackstock; three grandchildren, Sgt. Brad Pearson and his fiancé Jessica Moen of Colorado Springs, CO, Greg Vaugh and his wife Anita and Erin Vaughn and one great granddaughter, Cheyanna Vaughn all of Blackstock and two loving nieces, Barbara Atwood of Fayetteville, NC,Ann Leonard of Conyers, GA and one loving nephew, James �Chick� Bryant of Chester; one loving great nephew, John E.
