Mr. Leonard Wayne Odom, 67, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Chester Regional Medical Center.A funeral service will be held2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Bishop and Rev. Bill Stallings officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Tuesday at Second Baptist Church. Born October 12, 1944 in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Odom was the son of Affie Lee Bussie Odom and the late Ambrose Odom.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries as a fixer.He was a member of Second Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, Mr. Odom is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Betty Love Odom; one son, Ricky Odom and his wife Tyanne of Chester; three daughters, Cindy Jessie and her husband Tim of Fort Lawn, SC, Renee Ward of Chester and April Ramey and her husband Mike of Chester; five grandchildren, Patrick Heckman, LeAnne Heckman, Joshua Ward, Alan Michael Ramey, and Mariah Ramey; four great grandchildren, Gabby Garcia, Savannah Garcia, Lola Heckman and Levi Cabaniss.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Varnadore and Diane Moore and one brother, Bobby Odom.
