YORK, SC: Mrs. Lela Jeanette Ewing Bennett, 76, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. John Alley officiating.Interment will be private.The family will be receive friends from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Barron Funeral Home. Born December 4, 1935 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Bennett was a daughter of the late Brown Ewing and Mary Paul Ewing.She attended Chester High School and was retired from T.C. Mail Processing in Orlando, FL. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Clarence H. Bennett; two sons, Michael Bennett and his wife Lena of York, SC and Terry Bennett and his wife Cheryl of Oviedo, FL; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Glenda Alley of Spartanburg, SC.
