Chester Mr. Lawrence Edward “Larry” Shuler, Jr., 47, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Pm on Thursday, September 5, at Armenia United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Wolfe officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the social hall of Armenia United Methodist Church, 2840 Armenia Rd., Chester, SC. Mr. Shuler was born February 25, 1966 in Charleston, SC and was a son of Lawrence E. Shuler, Sr. and Shirley Atkinson Shuler.He was a 1984 graduate of Chester High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was employed as a paramedic with Chester County EMS.Mr. Shuler was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Anne Beckford Shuler; one daughter, Morgan Shuler of Chester; three sisters, Jan Lee of Rock Hill, Beth Bagwell and husband Chuck of Abbeville, and Mary Lou Pundt and husband Van of Lake Wylie; a nephew, Dillon Pundt of Lake Wylie; and three nieces, Jennifer Towery of Rock Hill and Jessica and Samantha Parnell of Abbeville.He was preceded in death by a niece, Rebecca Lee Adair.
