Larry Dean Shrader

Chester Mr. Larry Dean Shrader, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2020 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharon, SC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday February 28, 2020 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Shrader was born May 15, 1941 in Lockhart, SC and was a son of the late David Hal Shrader and Mary Emily Whiteside’s Shrader. He was a graduate of Chester High School and Erskine College and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Shrader was retired from Independent Life Insurance Company and was a member of Chester A.R.P. Church. He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Gwendolyn Couch Shrader; one son, David Michael Shrader of Chester, SC; two daughters, Emily Wade of Jacksonville, FL and Anne West (Chris) of Chester, SC; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Shrader of Rock Hill, SC, Clark Shrader, (Gail) of Lancaster, SC and Bruce Shrader of Florence, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.
