Mr. Larry Donald Ramsey, 61, Blackstock, SC died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at his residence 2542 Boyd Road in Blackstock. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Olin Roberts officiating.Burial will be in Laurel Wood Cemetery in Rock Hill. Born in Rock Hill, SC, October 22, 1946, he was the son of Maybelle Hardin Ramsey Lindsey and the late Elzie Ramsey.He attended the schools of York County was retired from Springs Industries. Surviving are his wife, Judy Freeman Ramsey; mother and step-father, Maybelle and Homer Lindsey of Chester; three sons, Wayne Ramsey and Shane Ramsey both of Blackstock, SC and Tim Ramsey of Chester; six grandchildren, Jessica Ramsey of Raleigh, NC, Taylor Matthews, Dustin Ramsey, Breanna Ramsey, Blake Ramsey and Josh Ramsey all of Chester; four brothers, Billy Ramsey and Alton Ramsey both of Rock Hill, SC, Kenneth Ramsey of Blacksburg, SC and Dean Lindsey of Chester, SC; three sisters, Shirley Roberts and Elaine McKeown both of Chester and Patricia Jennings of New Port News, Virginia.Preceded in death by a brother Bobby Ramsey.
