Richburg Kobe James Roberts, 19, passed away Thursday July 16, 2020 at MUSC in Florence, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday July 20, 2020 at Union Cemetery with Rev. Ed Harris officiating. Special arrangements have been made due to the current social restrictions for a drive-by visitation to be held Sunday, July 19 , 2020 at Barron Funeral Home.Guests will remain in their vehicles and drive through the receiving line. The drive-by is your opportunity to show support, express sympathies, smile, and share handwritten messages, memories, and pictures through your vehicle windows. Kobe was born December 28, 2000 in Lancaster, SC and was a son of James Keith Roberts and Stephanie Ernandez Roberts. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School where he played baseball,and was previously employed with CR Landscaping in Richburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Makayla Lynn Roberts of Richburg, SC; maternal grandparents, Alan and Patty Ernandez of Fort Lawn, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Ernandez, Wayne and Sherri Delisse of Fort Mill, SC; paternal grandfather, Bill Canupp of Richburg, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Ernandez of Edgemoor, SC; aunts, Misty (Keith) Canupp of Richburg, SC, Beth Cannpp (Chris), Kim Ramsey of Richburg, SC Tabitha Matheson ( Malcolm) of Fort Mill, SC, Staci Polk ( Brandon )of Fort Lawn, SC, Rose and Sarah Delisse both of Fort Mill, SC;uncles, Chad Ramsey (Samantha), Chase Ernandez and Dale Ernandez;special cousins,Tori Ernandez, Dylan Canupp and Brooklyn Carter all of Richburg, SC. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Mousey Ernandez; paternal grandmother, Mary Jo Canupp; his uncle Eugene Roberts; and his best friend Caleb Ellisor.
