Blackstock:Kevin Jay Vickers, Jr. AM2, 28, died Sunday,February 27, 2011 in Southern California where he was serving his country as a member of the United States Navy. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2011 at Cornwell Presbyterian Church with Reverend Tim Foster officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home.Interment will be private. Kevin was born in Reidsville, GA on May 21, 1982 the son of Kevin and Teresa Vickers. He was a graduate of Chester High School, a member of Cornwell Presbyterian Church and an active member of the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Shelby Vickers of Roseburg, Oregon; two sisters Kristie Donaldson and her husband Jamie and their sons Braden and Kaleb and Katrina Craven and her husband Aaron and their son Christopher all of Blackstock, SC; a maternal grandmother, Earmielee Lowe of Blackstock, SC; two aunts, Melanie Vickers of Belle, W.VA, and Pamela Thomas of Camden, SC and two uncles, James Vickers of St. Albans, W.VA and Frank Parsons of Blackstock, SC.
