Kenneth Paul Rowsam, Jr.

Mr. Kenneth Paul Rowsam, Jr., 86 died Friday, November 8, 2024 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Rowsam was born July 30, 1938 in Carthage, NY and was a son of the late Kenneth Paul Rowsam, Sr. and Lou Emma Marshall Rowsam. He was a graduate of Carthage High School in Carthage, NY and attended Cornell University where he played basketball. He was retired from Omnova as a salesperson after over 32 years of service where he was salesperson of the year multiple times. Ken was an avid golfer and was a member of Chester Golf Club. The highlight of Ken’s golfing life was he was able to play the Augusta National Golf Club.  He was also a Toastmaster and Governor of the Chester Moose Lodge.

He is survived by one son, Alan Rowsam (Julia) of Chester, SC; three daughters, Debbie Wilson (Jackie) of Chester, SC, Denise Strawbridge of Batesburg, SC and Shari Tennant (Dave) of Lebanon, PA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Brett Rowsam (Pat) of Oklahoma; one sister, Mona Paragan (Vinnie) of Lewiston, ID and numerus nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Adams "Peggy" Rowsam and his sister Brenda Caschetta.
