Rock Hill Mr. Kenneth Wayne McIntosh, 63, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Chester ARP Church with Rev. Clint Davis and Dr. Dwight Pearson officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. McIntosh was born November 26, 1950 in Columbus, GA and was a son of the late Kenneth E. McIntosh and Frances Wise McIntosh.He was a graduate of Jordan Vocational High School in Columbus, GA, received his Bachelors of Arts in Business from Furman University, where he played football and was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and received his Master of Arts in Teaching from Converse College.Mr. McIntosh was a retired school administrator, teacher, and coach, having taught and served in the following schools: Berea High School, Blue Ridge High School, Chester High School, Northwestern High School, Indian Land High School, York Comprehensive High School, Banks County High School, Madison County High School, Laurens District 55 High School, and York Preparatory Academy. He was a member of Chester ARP Church where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Coffey McIntosh; four children, Whitney McIntosh of Charlotte, NC, Courtney McIntosh Warren of Rock Hill, SC, Torren McIntosh and wife Dianne of Williamsburg, VA, and Brittany McIntosh of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, Kayla Duke and Andrew Warren both of Rock Hill, SC, Bryce McIntosh, Kieran McIntosh, Owen McIntosh, and Lincoln McIntosh all of Williamsburg, VA; three brothers, Ronnie McIntosh of Columbus, GA, Terry McIntosh of Fort Mitchell, AL, and Blaine McIntosh of Greenville, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous coaching, teaching, and administrative friends; and his church family.
