Kenneth Francis Kaelin

Mr. Kenneth Francis Kaelin, Sr., age 86, of Chester, SC, Formerly of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at his home in South Carolina.Mr. Kaelin was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean conflict; attended schools in Louisville, KY; was co-owner/operator of Catawba Plastics; was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester; and was an avid golfer and member of Chester Golf Club. Mr. Kaelin was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes Stier Kaelin; his loving wife, Alma Edna (Thompson) Kaelin; and three brothers, Chuck, Jack and Jim Kaelin.He is survived by eight children, Kerry Kaelin (Fiance, Jessica), Kory Kaelin (Mara), both of Chester, SC, Kenneth Kaelin, Jr., (Diana), Tilton, IL, Karen Dubree (Michael), Shepherdsville, KY, Kathy Kaelin, Louisville, KY, Kim Gregg (Tony), Kara Kenworthy (Scott), Karla West (Zachary), all of Indianapolis, IN; six sisters, Pat Bender, Clara Watts (Gary), Martha Gray (Bill), Joyce Green, Jay Middleton, Mary Hagan, all of Louisville, KY; 25 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY with Rev.
