Kenneth Rayford Hefner

Edgemoor:Mr. Kenneth Rayford Hefner, 77, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at his residence. A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Lando Church of God with Reverend Ed Harris officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the vestibule of the church. Mr. Hefner was born February 13, 1933 in Lando, SC a son of the late Curtis Hefner and Jerusha Laney Hefner. He attended the schools of Chester County, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from the Goodwill Store in Rock Hill, SC. Mr. Hefner is survived by a son, Kenneth O. Hefner and his wife Vickie of Shelby, NC; three sisters, Dorothy Evans (also his caregiver), Pauline Small and Temmer Ramsey all of Edgemoor, SC; four grandsons and six great grandsons.
