Chester, SC:Kenneth Wayne Dunn, 59, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at MUSC Health-Chester. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday October 11, 2021 at Ember Church with Reverend Kevin Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends also Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at Ponderosa Cemetery 1516 Old York Road, Chester, SC 29706. Mr. Dunn was born in Chester, SC on May 3, 1962 and was a son of Jean Lee Ashe and Harold Ashe.Wayne was a graduate of Chester High School and was a truck driver for a trucking company in Rock Hill, SC. He was also a former member of the South Carolina Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by a daughter, Ashley Elkins , granddaughter, Anna Belle Elkins, sister, Debra Ann Albert (Ralph) all of Chester, SC , one brother, Scotty Stevenson of Richburg, SC and several nieces and nephews.
