Kenneth Steve Dodds

Kenneth “Steve” Dodds, 71, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Shaffer officiating. A visitation also Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Barron Funeral Home and all other times at the home. Born September 18, 1950 in Chester, South Carolina Mr. Dodds was a son of the late Colvin Moore Dodds and Atha Clark Dodds. Steve was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from GAF in Chester as an industrial mechanic and he was a farmer.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Linda D. Grant and a brother, Michael C. Dodds. Heis survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Dodds of over fifty years; two daughters, Stephanie D. Bishop and Eva Dodds (Jimmy Dixon) both of Chester; son, Michael C. Dodds of Winnsboro; brother, Bill Dodds (Patti) of Chester; grandchildren, Malloy Poston, Landon BishopandBraedon “Bean” Bishop;numerous nieces and nephews and a special great-nephew Bryson Grant.
