Kenneth Leon Adams, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Leon Adams Sr., 73, died Saturday, June 17, 2023. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Roddey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, June 20 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Adams was born April 18, 1950 in York County and was a son of the late Joseph Columbus Adams Sr. and Gladys Hardin Adams. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was an IT Specialist having worked with Hartland. He was an avid golfer and a die-hard Clemson fan. Mr. Adams was a member of First Wesleyan in York, SC where he sang with the church choir. He is survived by three sons, Kenneth Adams, Jr. (Dion) of Cary, NC, London Adams (Amy) of Cary, NC and Wesley Adams (Stacey) of Richburg, SC; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Zack, Clayton Cara, Lacie, Corey, London II; two brothers, Barry Adams (Laura) of Rock Hill, SC and Fred Adams (Joy) of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law Collette Adams of Rock Hill, SC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother J.C. Adams. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Council , 420 S. Church St. Spartanburg, SC 29306.
