Mrs. Katie Lee Jackson Bell, 84, died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Monday April 26, 2010 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Don Etters and Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating.Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Born April 11, 1926 in Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Bell was a daughter of the late James D. Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Herron Jackson. She attended the schools of Oconee County and was retired from Springs Industries as a spinner.She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Rick Bell and wife Cathie of Chester; two granddaughters, Shannon Ratteree of Chester and Leslie Howell of Gaffney, SC; two great grandchildren, Justin and Katie Howell both of Gaffney, SC.She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Curtis Bell and son Jimmy Curtis Bell. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. ? 2:45 P.M prior to the service at Second Baptist Church,729 Village Drive, Chester, SC.
