CHESTER, SC: Kathy Diane “Katie” Keenon, 63, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC.The funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Bishop officiating.The interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Born January 12, 1952 in Chester County, SC, Katie was a daughter of the late Lewis and Nancy Keenon Howe.She formerly worked at the Bantam Chef and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one son, Chase Keenon and one daughter Kasey Keenon both of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Chyanne Keenon and Jeremy Browder both of Chester, SC; four sisters, Patsy Cleveland of Lando, SC, Joyce Garner of Chester, SC, Shirley Blackmon of Wallace, SC and Sara Dove of Smithfield, NC; one brother, Tommy Keenon of Chester, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 182 Pinckney Street, Chester, SC 29706.
