Mrs. Kathryn Orr Fleming, 90, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, with Reverend Fred Powell and Reverend Ronnie Greene officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 2:00 PM Saturday at Barron Funeral Home. Born May 9, 1920 in Great Falls, SC, Mrs. Fleming was the daughter of the late William Franklin Orr and Daisy Price Douglas Orr.She attended the schools of Clover, SC, Gastonia, NC and Chester, SC. She was retired from Springs Industries at the Eureka Plant as a spinner with forty years of service. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the widow of James Alvin ?Jake? Fleming, Sr. She is survived by two sons, James A. Fleming, Jr. and his wife Virginia of Bennettsville, SC and Ronald E. ?Ronnie? Fleming and his wife Cynthia of Chester; one daughter, Sarah F. Jones and her husband Beaty of Chester; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great-great granddaughters and one special sister-in-law Mattie B. Orr of Chester.
