CHESTER- A valiant Christian lady Mrs. Kathleen Hough ?Dumpy? Crocker, 85, of 651 Still Street died Friday, May 29, 2009 at her residence. The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Bishop, Rev. Don Etters and Rev. Bill Stallings officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Born January 4, 1924 in Lando, SC, Mrs. Crocker was the daughter of the late Vernon Hough and Lille Mae Ramsey Hough.She was a graduate of Oakley Hall High School and retired after thirty-seven years from Springs Industries.She was a very active member of Second Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She leaves to mourn but to be blessed by her love, a son Charles ?Chuck? Crocker and his wife Marilyn of Chester, one daughter, Kay Crocker Sehorn and her husband Tom of Weddington, NC; four grandchildren, Kevin Crocker and his wife Sally, Kelly Welchel and her husband Scott, and Shelley and Ashley Sehorn; two great grandchildren, Quint and Lauren Crocker; one brother, Leroy Hough of Edgemoor, SC and one sister Lib Hudson of Rock Hill, SC.She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years Onree ?Duck? Crocker, her sister Ollie Hefner and her brothers Hazel and Edward Hough. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 7:30 pm Sunday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
