Chester Mrs. June Anderson Baker Cook, 80, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 24,2013, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and other times at 614 Empty Pockets Dr., Chester, SC. Mrs. Cook was born September 3, 1932 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Book Anderson and Kate Clark Anderson.She was a graduate of Chester High School, worked for more than 26 years with Chester Telephone, and retired from Strickland, Short, & Keels Law Firm.Mrs. Cook was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Speedy Baker of Chester and Scott A. Baker and his wife Amy of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Caitlin Baker of Greenville, SC, Austin Baker of Rock Hill, Carley Baker of Lawrence, Kansas, and Noah Baker of Rock Hill; one great-granddaughter, Raena Baker of Rock Hill; two nieces, Meredith Ward and husband Jeff of Murphy, NC and Linda Cronan and husband Bill of Chester; one nephew, Harris Webb of Chester; and one very special friend, Janet Davis of Chester.
