Chester Mrs. Joyce Geraldine Hopper Gregory, 82, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at her home.Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, at 3:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. James Sanders officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Gregory was born June 29, 1934 in Lockhart, SC and was a daughter of the late Troy Lee Hopper and Elsie Broome Hopper Cramer and the widow of David Marion Gregory.She attended the schools of Lockhart and graduated from Chester Adult Education.Mrs. Gregory was ahomemaker and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa “Terri” Gregory Estes of Chester; nine grandchildren, Dean Harrison, Timmy Estes, Andy Gregory, Tony Estes, Jamie Harrison, Trakus Estes, Tonya Estes, Heather Taylor and Tiffany Estes; and 21 great grandchildren.Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by a son, David Hennis Gregory and a sister, Robbie Devine.
