Joshua Anderson Ellisor

Joshua Anderson Ellisor, 30, died Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, also Saturday, November 15 at First Baptist Church Chester.

Joshua was born October 23, 1995, in Salisbury, NC and was the son of Rembert Anderson Ellisor, Jr and Teresa Lynn Waldrop. He was a graduate of Richard Winn Academy and attended York Tech. He was currently employed with Walmart and previously worked with IGA and Food Lion. Joshua was an accomplished musician having mastered the drums, acoustic, bass, and electric guitar and played in a local band with his friends for special functions and activities. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he played guitar and drums with the youth praise band.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Martha Waldrop; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Frank Rivers, Ben and Tiffani Waldrop; cousins, Hannah Rivers Fultz (Christian), Mary-Carolina Waldrop Sanford (Tyler) and Owen Waldrop; he was preceded in death by his brother, Caleb Rembert Ellisor and his paternal grandparents, Rem and Bobbi Ann Ellisor.
