Brandon, 41, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2026. Born January 1, 1985 in Rock Hill, SC, where he was a lifelong resident until moving to Murrells Inlet, SC in 2012.

Brandon was a devoted son, brother, cousin and uncle. He was a graduate of Northwestern High School, Rock Hill, SC, and Nascar Technical Institute.

He loved his hobbies, arts & crafts, woodworking, RC buggy racing, and Nascar. He was happiest outdoors in nature and walking the beach.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Georgetta McGuire and husband Frankie of Murrells Inlet, SC; his father, Mike Gross and wife Gloriana of Chester, SC; his brothers, Jonathan McGuire of Rock Hill, SC, and Cayce McGuire (Haley Vinson) of Winnsboro, SC; aunt Sherry Brandon, of Rock Hill, SC; uncle Cooter Yannotti (Kim) of Chester, SC; uncle Wayne Gross (Donna) of Richburg, SC; maternal grandmother, Eula Mae McGuire of Rock Hill, SC; paternal grandfather, George Earl Brandon of Manning, SC; his cousins Lynsie Brantley (John); Tommy Yannotti (Sally); Chan Yannotti (Linda); Brian Yannotti (Stephanie); Chrissy Steen (Chase); Ronnie Wood; Tyson Gross (Tanya); Tyler Gross (Paola); Austin Gross (Anna).

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Brandon; paternal grandparents, Frank McGuire; and Joe and Ethel Gross.

A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 1p.m. at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. at his mother’s home, 4430 Creek Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC.
