Joseph Brice "Joey" Dawkins

Richburg, SC Joseph Brice "Joey"Dawkins, 58, died Friday January 21, 2022 at MUSC Columbia Medical Center Downtown. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Lando Cemetery with Rev. Chase Catledge officiating.the family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home. Joey was born in Chester, South Carolina on October 20, 1963 and was the son of Shirley Ann Thomas Dawkins and the late Joe Gaston Dawkins. He attended Lewisville High School in Richburg, SC and was employed with Randolph Yarn earlier in his career and most recently with Black Cat Fireworks. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Cheryl McCrorey (Leroy) of Richburg; his lifelong friend, Neneece Collazo; his niece, April Caldwell and his nephew, Lee Blackwell.
