Chester Mr. Johnny Robert Gentry, 60, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Chester Regional Medical Center.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Gentry was born October 30, 1953 in Chester and was a son of Mickey B. Gentry and the late Edna Vance Gentry.He was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries.Mr. Gentry was an avid sports fan who loved Clemson and South Carolina football. He is survived by one daughter, Jenna G. Threewitt and husband Eddie of Waxhaw, NC; one son, Jason Gentry of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Emma Carson Gentry, Gabriel Gentry Williams, and Jackson Edward Threewitt; one brother, Mike Gentry and wife Janet of Anderson, SC; one sister, Debbie G.
