John O'Dell Williams

John O’Dell Williams, 32, died Friday, December 29, 2023 at his home. A memorial service will be held, 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Chester Freedom Ministries with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, also Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Chester Freedom Ministries. Dell was born March 21, 1991 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of Frank P. Williams Sr. and Dana Ferguson Williams. He was a graduate of High School through the GED program. Dell enjoyed making You Tube Videos with his friend David. He was a talented guitarist and Artist who loved his family and friends whole-heartedly. He was a very competitive and successful gamer. Dell joined the family of Christ on August 6, 2023 with his cousin Mitch Burnett performing the baptism and was a member of Chester Freedom Ministries where he loved his newfound church family. He enjoyed a good laugh and helping others in life. His joyful presence will be greatly missed until we meet him in Heaven’s Glory once again. In addition to his brother Josh Williams, Dell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Pauline Williams and his uncle Dell Williams and his aunt Judy Player and a cousin Matt Matheney. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Adam Mullinax (Jennifer) of Chester, SC and P.J. Williams, Jr. (Jessica) of Chester, SC; maternal grandparents, John F. and Lois Love Ferguson of Chester, SC; his aunts, Sheri Matheney (Earl) of Richburg, SC and Ethel Hope of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law, Georgiana Williams of Inman, SC; one niece, Sadie Williams, six nephews, Eli Mullinax, Abel Mulliinax, Luke Mullinax, Cam Mullinax, John Williams and Dylan Williams; cousins, Ashley Thomas (Billy) and Kim Matheney (Chris) and their daughter, Hannah; his best friend, David Brantley and many other friends. For all who knew Dell personally he leaves you with these words “I wike chockit miwk” Memorials may be made to Chester Freedom Ministries, 729 Village Dr. Chester, SC 29706.
