CHESTER: Mr. John William “Buddy” Weaver, 73, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Jenkins officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 7:30 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 16, 1942 in Lancaster, SC, Mr. Weaver was a son of the late C.I. Weaver and Ruth Yost Weaver.He attendedOakley Hall School and Lewisville High School.Mr. Weaver was retired owner and operator of Bud’s Truck Repair in Chester, SC and a member of Richburg United Methodist Church.Buddy enjoyed collecting antique cars and tractors. He is survived by four children, Rhonda Weaver of Fort Lawn, SC, Johnny Weaver of Edgemoor, SC, Barbara Tucker of Fort Mill, SC and Jason Weaver of Chester, SC; one grandson, Travis Stephenson of Clover, SC; one brother, Buck Weaver of Campobello, SC; two sisters, Gladys Ferguson of High Point, NC and Esther Weaver of Cincinnati, Ohio.
