John Theodore "Ted" Ratterree

Richburg Mr. John Theodore “Ted” Ratterree, 80, died Sunday August 1, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.Services will be private. Mr. Ratterree was born September 12, 1940 in Lando, SC and was a son of the late Willis C. Ratterree and Janie Elizabeth Thorpe Ratterree. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and was co-owner and operator of Capps Radiator of Chester, SC. Mr. Ratterree was a veteran of the US Navy and served with the Richburg Fire Dept. as a volunteer for over fifty years.He was a member of Union ARP Church and was an Elder. He is survived by his sons, Chris T. Ratterree (Donna) of Richburg, SC, Mark R. Ratterree (Shannon) of Chester, SC; daughter, Jan Patrick (Brett) of Rock Hill, SC; six grandchildren, Jessica Ratterree, Erin Gladden, Morgan Sims, Macy Ratterree, Reece Patrick and Gavin Patrick; several great-grands. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Porter Ratterree; brothers, Tim Ratteree and Mike Ratterree and his sister, Louise Hullett.
