BLACKSTOCK, SC Mr. John Brown Montgomery, Jr, 75, died October 29, 2010 at Chester Regional Medical Center in Chester.A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Dr. Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester. Born October 9, 1935 in Fairfield County, SC, Mr. Montgomery was a son of the late John Brown Montgomery, Sr. and Opel Cook Montgomery.He attended the schools of Blackstock. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Ramsey Montgomery; two sons, John Montgomery of Blackstock and Steve Ebersole and his wife Rhonda of Kershaw; three daughters, Lynn Hollingsworth and her husband William and Teresa Prichard and her husband Arden both of Blackstock and Vickie Smith of Memphis, TN; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Montgomery of Inman, SC; three sisters, Nancy Yongue of Surfside, SC, Ann Seay of Campobella, SC and Ruth Whitaker of Ozark, Alabama.He was preceded in death by brother, Don Montgomery.
