Richburg Richburg Mr. John Alonzo Michau, 48, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Michau was born October 6, 1971 in Chester, SC and was a son of Willard Michau and Beulah Parker McCraven . He was a graduate of Cornerstone Christian Academy and employed with Siemens in Charlotte, NC as a welder. John enjoyed playing softball and was an avid bodybuilder. He was a very loving father, brother and son to his family. He attended Woodward Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his step-father, Jack Parkins whom raised him, and also his step-father Rev. Harry McCraven, one sister, Susan Whitmire, one brother, Willard Michau, Jr. In addition to his parents he is survived by ; two sons, Eric Michau (Savannah) of Chester, SC and Matt Michau (Emily) of Rock Hill, SC; eleven grandchildren, Abigail Michau of York County, SC, Jayden Michau of Fort Mill, SC, Jaxton Michau of Chester, SC Carter Michau, of Rock Hill, SC, Kinsleigh Michau of Lancaster, SC, Kaydence Johnson, Alayna Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Addison Johnson, Macon Wallace and Tate Wallace all of Chester, SC; three brothers, Ricky Michau (Faye), of Chester, SC, Joey and Rodney Michau of Georgetown, SC; two sisters, Sheila Oxendine (Greg) of Rock Hill, SC and Tina Olin of Georgetown, SC. His step-father Harry’s children, Dan McCraven of Chester, SC, Junior McCraven of Lincolnton, NC and Dreama Will of Piedmont, SC.
