John H. Boothe CHESTER:Mr. John Henry Boothe died Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Chester Regional Medical Center.He was 72. Funeral services and interment will be in Tazewell, Virginia. Mr. Boothe was born October 14, 1936 in Tazewell, Virginia, a son of the late Burt and Pearl Parker Boothe.He attended the schools of Tazewell County and received his G.E.D. after service to our nation in the U.S. Army in Korea.Mr. Boothe was employed as a mechanic at Nations Ford Chemical Co. in Fort Mill, SC. Surviving are his wife Freida Boardwine Boothe; sons, James Street and Joey Street of Chester and Jerry Street of Tazewell, VA; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Boothe of Ohio, Robert Boothe of Maine, and Richard Boothe of Richmond, VA; and a sister, Katherine Butler of Tazewell, VA.
