John Mark Blackwell

Chester: John Mark Blackwell, 49, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Arthur Vick officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the social hall of the church. Mr. Blackwell was born in Union, SC on October 12, 1961 a son of the late Carlos L. Blackwell and Leila Knight Blackwell. He attended the schools of Chester County, was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and was self employed in home improvements and renovations. He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Boatwright of Sedgwick, KS and Brittnee Blackwell of Rock Hill, SC; two sons, Malin Blackwell and Luke Blackwell both of Concord, NC; three granddaughters and one sister, Donna Darby of Chester, SC.
