Joel Bernard Barton

Mr. Joel Bernard, 75, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM, Via Zoom, Meeting ID 870 1132 9806, Passcode 380647. Joel was born January 19, 1946 in Santa Monica, California and was the son of the late Joseph T. Barton and Ethelyn Smith Barton.He was an only child.He was a graduate of the schools of Los Angeles, CA.Later in life he developed an interest in computers and started his own computer consulting business, PC Tutoring.He also had a love for animals especially for his cats and dog. Joel used the majority of his life serving as a full time servant of Jehovah God.He retired from the consulting work but not from serving Jehovah God.While he had no surviving family members, he accumulated a multitude of Christian brothers and sisters as he served in many different congregations.Joel was honest, truthful, and encouraging to talk to.He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
