Chester Mrs. JoAnne Stevenson Brunet, 65, died Saturday, June 24, 2017, at her home.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ON Wednesday, June 28, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Brunet was born January 4, 1952 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Mrs. Nina Stevenson Pierce.She attended the schools of Chester County and was a homemaker who formerly worked with Spot Foods in Chester.In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing fast pitch soft ball.Mrs. Brunet was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of over 36 years, Victor L. Brunet; four sons, Tommy Pettus (Mary) of Clover, Scott Pettus of Chester, Brad Brunet (Michelle) of Richburg and Jonathan Brunet (Allison) of York; eight grandchildren, Anna Margaret, Molly, Brandon, Logan, Cole, Evan, Christian and Ashton.
