Jimmy Larry Richardson

Chester: Jimmy Larry Richardson, 62, went home to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on Friday, August 1, 2014. A funeral service will be held3:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2014 at Saluda Street Church of God with Reverend Joe Vicars and Reverend Bill Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Mr. Richardson was born in Bennettsville, SC on November 16, 1951 and was a son of Margaret Louise Richardson Johnson and the late T. Boyd Richardson. He was a graduate of Conway High School and Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Conway , SC. Mr. Richardson was retired from Arvin Meritor as a supervisor and was formerly employed with Grove Crane Manufacturing as a supervisor. He was also the owner/operator of J.R.’s Handyman Service. Mr. Richardson was amember of Saluda Street Church of God and Sandy River Masonic Lodge #207. He was an avid outdoorsman, sports and NASCAR fan. In addition to his mother, Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife of over twenty-one years Cynthia Nelson Richardson; his children, Reverend Larry E. Richardson (Betty) of Conway, SC, Ricky W. Richardson (Holly) of Pawleys, Island, SC and Joe Burton (Kim) of Rock Hill, SC; four grandchildren, Kurt Richardson (April) and Brooke Richardson Terry (Evan) all of Conway, SC and Maggie and Hope Richardson of Pawleys Island, SC; great grandson, Barrett Richardson of Conway, SC; sister, Wanda Chestnut and two brothers, Tommy F. Todd and David Hearl all of Conway, SC. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tristan Burton.
