RICHBURG, SC Mr. Jimmy Edward Cooper, Sr., 76, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home.The funeral service will be 4:00 Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Green officiating.The interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 pm Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 19, 1937 in Chester, SC, Mr. Cooper was the son of the late John E. and Grace Simpson Cooper.He attended the schools of Chester County and was veteran of the US Army.Mr. Cooper was retired from Mack Truck in Winnsboro, SC as a maintenance supervisor.He attended the Together As One. He is survived by his wife of over fifty-three years Cleava Gee “Lala” Cooper; one son, Eddie Cooper, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Chester, SC; two daughters, Wanda Woods and Blake of Great Falls, SC and Grace Sims of Richburg, SC; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one sister, Betty Joe Allen of Chester, SC.
