Fort Lawn, SC Mr. Jessie Lindsay Yarborough, 72, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home.A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2011 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Michael Shaffer officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Barron Funeral Home. Born September 11, 1938 in Chester, SC, Mr. Yarborough was a son of the late Robert E. and Jessie Dodds Yarborough.He attended the schools of Chester County and retired from Northern Tool & Equipment.He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Jessie was a simple man who loved everyone. He is survived by three sons, Robert L. Yarborough of Chester, Wayne Yarborough and his wife Sylvia of Chester and Johnny Ray Yarborough of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Darlene Ferrell and her husband Jerry of Rock Hill and Sharon Jordan and her husband Max of Fort Lawn; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Feaster of Chester, Hazel Welch of Chester, Loreda Campbell of Chester and Essie Dickson of Pendleton, SC.He was preceded in death by his wife Tilda Elizabeth Yarborough, granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Yarborough and six brothers.
