ROCK HILL, SC: Jeffery Donald Caldwell, 56, formerly of Ashford, CT, died May 11, 2017.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop.The interment will be private.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Tammy Hilliard, 1057 Langley Drive, Chester, SC. A second memorial service will be held August 25, 2017 in Ashford, CT. Born December 18, 1960 in Stafford, CT, Mr. Caldwell was the son of Reginald Cadwell and Diane Varga Dobscha.He attended E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, CT and was a self-employed handyman.He loved baseball and the Boston Red Sox, Harley-Davidson and also his dogs. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of over twenty-three years, Betty Clark Caldwell; one daughter, Amber Lynn Caldwell of Rock Hill, SC; three sons, Zachery Adam Caldwell of Rock Hill, SC, Dustin Cadwell and Richard Cadwell of Ocala, FL and Erica Webb and Shannah Toce, that he called his strays, whom he loved as his own children; two brothers, Scott Cadwell of FL and Michael Cadwell of Shinglehouse, PA; one sister, Wendy Mountain of Rock Hill, SC and one grandson, Logan Wade Starnes of Rock Hill, SC.
