CHESTER, SC: Mrs. Jeanette McKinney Elliott, 96, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at her residence.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church with the funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Ogburn and Rev. Joey Shetley officiating. The interment will follow in Lando Cemetery. Born January 13, 1922 in Lando, SC, Mrs. Elliott was a daughter of the late Palmer Patterson McKinney and Flora Davis McGarity McKinney.Mrs. Elliott was retired from the Schlegel Corporation and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight yearsJack Lloyd Elliott, three brothers and seven sisters. She was survived by four daughters, Judith Ann Elliott Beaty (Frank) of Clermont, FL, Jean Elliott Hembree (Ray) of Chester, SC, Peggy Elliott Presley (Perry) of Rock Hill, SC, Pamela Elliott Haralson (Roger) of Greenwood, SC, ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and her caregiver, Elizabeth Crain of Greenwood, SC.
