Chester Mrs. Jeanette LaFaye Armstrong Adams, 74, died Thursday, June 9, 2016.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in York, SC. Mrs. Adams was born December 2, 1941 in Belmont, NC and was a daughter of the late Floyd Edward Armstrong and Jeanette Ramsey Armstrong.She was a graduate of the schools of Belmont, NC and a retired manager in the food service industry.Mrs. Adams was a member of the Garden Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Frank Roach Post 34. She is survived by one son, William E. “Bill” Adams of Lincolnton, NC; one granddaughter, Staci Adams Brice (Bob) of Lincolnton, NC; one great-granddaughter, Ella Abigail Brice of Lincolnton, NC; and one sister, Christy Eldridge of Greensboro, NC.Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Stephen Adams.
