Chester: Ms Cheryl Jean Stevenson, 51, of 535 Pecan Court died Friday, July 17, 2009 at her residence. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2009, at Together As One with Reverend Ronnie Greene and Reverend Ken Compton officiating. Interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. A native of Chester, SC, Ms Stevenson was the daughter of the late Carol Ray Stevenson and Rosie Ferrell Stevenson Yeargan.She attended the schools of Chester County, was employed as a cashier with Grand Central, Great Falls, SC and was a member of Together As One. Surviving her is her Step-Father, Sam Yeargan of Chester, SC, one daughter, Jennifer Clark of Richburg, SC, two sons, Donnie Clark and his wife Barbara of Chester, SC and Jason Yeargan and his wife Emily of Lancaster, SC, two brothers, David Stevenson and his wife Judy of Kings Mountain, NC, and Ron Stevenson and his wife Harriet of Locust, NC and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Pruitt. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC 29706.
